On 23 September, a celebratory vision seminar and dinner were held to mark the 25th anniversary of the Merchants' Association, with which the Association thanked its members and partners.
At the anniversary celebration, the Merchants' Association presented medals of honour to retail visionary Ants Vasar and to long-time retail spokesperson and Association board member Kai Realo, recognising their significant contribution to the development and work of the Estonian Merchants' Association.
The Merchants' Association also thanked and recognised Selver development director Agi Metsand, COOP lawyer Rika Tamm, Rimi HR director Kaire Tero, Ülemiste Centre marketing director Tiia Nõmm and Kaubamaja Group legal director Helen Tulvet for their wholehearted contribution to the well-being of the retail sector and to the joint activities of the Merchants' Association.
The Estonian Merchants' Association is a voluntary association of retail and wholesale companies operating in the Republic of Estonia, whose role is to represent the interests of the retail sector, shape and uphold fair trade practices, and coordinate joint activities in the retail sector.
